I think this video is interesting because it is out of paper but it looks like it is made out of feathers and  it would take a lot of skill to make it and patience.

100 word challenge

As I search through the forest I hear screaming. It sounds like a girl. I run through the grassy landscape, I hear the flow of the river, it feels like I haven’t had a drink in days. The noise is getting closer and closer, I feel like I can just reach out and she will be there. After what feels like five minutes I find an opening and then I saw bright light. I feel dizzy and fall. Later I wake to find that I had left my light on. BY EMMA AND SOPHIE!

suddenly I heard a crack

MY PENCIL

 Suddenly, I heard a crack, it was the BIGGEST crack I have ever heard, my favourite pencil had just SNAPPED the teacher had just sat on my chair he had broken what had been to me the best friend and only friend I have ever had GONE.

That pencil was the only thing that accepted me for me and who I really am. Some say its weird, others say its strange, but that pencil speaked to my through its silence and wisdom.

how I did my infographic :)

first I had to log in that took about two minutes. But then it got harder I had to choose my type of infographic and then delete ALL of the stuff they had written about the government that took surprisingly long. Next I started to write and write and write but mainly the time it took was used for the boxes and adjusting them. After that I had to write about the stratus cloud did you know the stratus cloud is the lowest cloud in the sky? and we wrote about the cumulonimbus did you know that the cumulonimbus goes from 6,500 to 20,000 feet in the air? over all it took about 40 minutes.

tech term 3 :)

This term at tech the year 7's have been making door hangers, metal pencil cases and pendants with Mr P. I think hard tech is really fun and really enjoy it. at my table I sit with Vi, Emma and Maria. I have finished my door hanger and nearly finished pendant (my door hanger has 2 minions on it one is holding a welcome sign. I plan to spray paint my pencil case purple if I can't I all do blue 

the mighty storm

                                                                      THE STORM


We were away from school last Friday due to a severe storm that forced people in doors and cut power to lots of homes. The following is a piece of writing created from that motivation:

Last Friday my home town had a massive storm my Aunty said that 'this storm was the worst since the wahine'. Our dad had thankfully found some 7 hour candles. We watched a movie on my sisters laptop it was called after The Funeral - we had dreadful leaks (one that hadn't leaked in years).


After the movie I went to bed when I woke up all I could hear was water dripping from the roof and wind wind wind! When I got down stairs me and mum played a thrilling game of cards I won. At around 10:30 we got power and I practically watched t.v from then on.

This term we are learning about what's inside the body I am studying the lungs did you know that the left lung is smaller than the right lung because it needs to make room for the heart. The lungs are protected by the rib cage and they are pink and if you could see them they would be rubbery.

Pulse vs mystics

On Monday me Caitlin, Emi, Peta, Angela, Mum and my auntie Viv we went tok the Wellington Pulse vs Northern Mystics I sat next to Emi and Peta and Caitlin and Angela sat behind us we got the tickets from one of mums friend named Karen.I really enjoyed the netball game me and Caitlin were taking pictures and movies

This week in maths we have been learning about how to make equations easier by using tidy numbers. We do maths in Pukeko with miss Martell instead of  Kakapo class. Its fun in maths I am always by Caitlin.

        This is the cat from next door named Mila. this is her today in one of  weka's rubbish bins. Shes so FLUFFY.

SACRED HEART SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY

On Tuesday Sacred Heart first we did ourt team chants my team kikorangi also known as blue didn't do so well  we came last with green.yellow ended up winning the team chants but it was a completely  different story when it came to the cross country though purple won for the first time in ages and my team came last again but everyone was happy that yellow didn't win except yellow of course. I won my race for the year 7 girls  so I was happy where I ended up

Last Wednesday kakapo class were teaching tui class for 20 minutes.My buddy was Jane I taught her how to write capital and lower case letters.I also taught Jane how to write her name.

On Friday Sacred Heart School Petone had a Holy week tour and our class did palm Sunday and Jesus rode in on his donkey withs his "homies" well the rest of us waved palms and banana leafs.

BUDDY TIME !!!!!!!!

Today I had an interview with my buddy named Anna, she has 7 close friends. She is 7 years old and she loves hamburgers!
Her hobbies include riding bikes, going on computers, reading and telling jokes.
Her favourite sports are soccer, netball and number soccer.
Anna has 9 siblings. Anna enjoys reading Geronimo Stilton and Dr Seus.
In her spare time she likes to ride bikes, read, swim and take photos. Her favourite subjects are inquiry, art, PE and maths.
